Capital Improvement Plan
Each year, Burnsville's City Council considers and funds infrastructure, facilities, and equipment projects based on the City's five-year Capital Improvement Plan (PDF).
Projects like street construction, drainage, ponding, sanitary sewer lines, water lines, street lighting and erosion control is planned and managed annually by the Engineering Department. They also maintain records for as-built files, vacations, right of way permits, development plan review and various other projects.
