Burnsville's Licensing & Code Enforcement staff work with residents to help ensure clean, safe and healthy neighborhoods in Burnsville. This is accomplished by inspecting for and enforcing basic housing and property maintenance codes that affect the quality of life for renters, private property owners and businesses. By working with residents to remedy things that have the potential to be unsafe, unsanitary or infringe on the rights of others, the City hopes to maintain property values and assure the preservation of the City's existing housing supply.
Burnsville Property Maintenance Inspectors work with residents to bring property maintenance issues into compliance with State and City code in order to ensure that all properties are safe and well-maintained.
