- Williams Dr. Corridor Study
The city is conducting a corridor study along Williams Drive between Morgan Avenue South (just west of County Road 5) and the City of Savage border. This stretch of Williams Drive was scheduled and budgeted for pavement rehabilitation in 2024. After discussions between staff and City Council, it was decided to perform a corridor study and consider Williams Dr. for construction in 2025. The purpose of the corridor study is to consider conceptual alternatives to a standard pavement rehabilitation that could reconfigure the roadway to slow speeds, increase safety, and provide improved pedestrian and bicycle access. The corridor study includes public engagement and will develop concept plans with cost estimates that could inform future changes to the design of the corridor.
